Frank passed away

March 1, 2006 at Malaspina Gardens.

Frank leaves to mourn his wife of 31 years Marjorie, his step daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Murray Martin, grandchildren Wendy, Greg, Geoff, Owen and families, his brother Jack (Isabell) Davis and nephew Howie Davis. He was predeceased by his first wife Lily and his stepson David (Marilyn) Clements.

Frank was born October 25, 1918 in Talbot, Alberta. Frank, along with his mother, grandmother and brother moved to the coast when Frank was in his early twentys. Frank was always a worker, and did many jobs...fishing, logging, he owned a door and sash company in Chemainus and he and his brother owned Cassidy Sales. He was truly a

Mr. Fix It, for there was nothing he couldn’t fix. He and Marjorie were very house proud and their home which they built on Code Road in Cedar he dearly loved. But Frank will probably be best remembered for his fabulous gardens...he truly was a master gardener.

The family would like to thank the staff at Malaspina Gardens for their compassion and loving care, and to Dr. Hepburn for her extraordinary kindness. Frank, you are now at peace...enjoy that wonderul garden in in the sky.
