Passed away suddenly on June 22, 2006 in Duncan, BC, late resident of Shawnigan Lake, born in Livingston, N. Rhodesia, October 27, 1928. Gerry was a veteran of WWII, served in the British Army Paratroopers, and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association of Canada. Survived by his loving wife Ruby, children: Fiona Walker, Cynthia Castro, Emily Pena, Bong Garcia, grandchildren: Ashley, Marc, Jenny, EJ, Eliza, Isabel and Mateo, great-grandson Noah and his sister Julia Schloss. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 2:00 pm in the Catholic Church, Our Lady Star of the World, Shawnigan Lake, BC.
