In Loving Memory ~
The family of Hubert (Bert) Scholl of Ladysmith, is saddened to announce his passing on Sept 20 at the age of 81.
Born in Germany in 1941, Bert emigrated with his family to Saskatchewan in 1953.
He studied at SAIT in Calgary, then made his way to the Yukon where he worked for Northwest Tel and became manager of quality control for Yukon and NWT.
While in the Yukon he was a Justice of the Peace for many years. He was later selected to move to Vancouver to aid in establishing Canada's North Warning System.
He ended his career in North Bay, Ontario working as a technical writer and instructor.
In the short time since his passing many have commented on his smile, laugh, kindness and generosity. Always genuine and kindhearted, Bert was a wonderful husband and father.
Bert leaves behind Evelyn, his wife of 56 years, his sons Martin and James, and his brother Karl.
He will be deeply missed.
