It is with great sorrow that we share the passing of Jacquelyn following a brief battle with cancer at Nanaimo Regional General Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Beverly Baker of Victoria, husband Kenneth Kreutz of Alberta, daughter Debbie Smith of Nanaimo and brother Brien Baker of Victoria whose wife Adrienne continues to reside in Victoria.
Jacquelyn is survived by her loving children, Brenda Quartly and husband Rod, Linda Ross and husband Neil, Patricia Maguire and significant other Bruce, all of Nanaimo. Sons, R. Wayne Keays of Ontario and Johnny Keays of Manitoba.
Numerous grandchildren, Sean Quartly of Smithers, Dean Quartly of Alberta, Chrissy Quartly, Chanel Rodrigues, Barby Cake, Dustin VanGerven, Kylan Maguire, Jackie Smith, Chrystal Smith, and Jennifer Smith all residing in Nanaimo.
She leaves behind brothers Lt. Col. W. Grant Baker and wife Phyllis, Robert Baker and wife Jaquelyn, all of Campbell River.
She has one sister, Margot Opseth and husband Otto residing in Hagen SK.
Jacquelyn will also be missed by her church family, The World of Pentecostal Church.
Services will be held at The World of Pentecostal Church, 3606 Allsop Rd. (just off Jinglepot Rd.) June 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Ens Tea to follow and burial to be held Errington Cemetery.
