Passed away suddenly in the early hours of March 19, 2002 in Duncan, B.C. at the age of 46 years. He was born in Grand Prairie, Alberta, September 5, 1955, son of Russell Edwin Dilke and the late Rosalie (Riddell) Dilke. He leaves with us his beloved wife Brenda of Cobble Hill, BC., and their loving sons: Russell and Justin of Edmonton, Alberta. Jim was predeceased by his brother David (Lorraine). Survived by sisters: Marti (Graham), Shannon (Geoff) Leeanna (Steve) and Naomi (Rob). Nephews: Jason, Bret, Casey, Chris, Jamie, Taylor, Stephen, Andrew and Dawson. Nieces: Alexi, Tiffany-Anne, Darci-Jo, Danica and Taneisha.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 23, 2002 in the Chapel of Telford’s Mortuary, 112 French St. Rev. Julian North officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice would be appeciated. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary, Ladysmith.
