HARLOW,
John Charles. August 8, 1950 - June 30, 2004. Loving husband, father and papa. John passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer, with his family at his side until the end. Survived by his loving wife Darlene of 31 years, his sons: Chris (Trina), Danny (Angie), Mike (Natalie), Mark (Jolie) and (papa’s biggest boy) grandson Bailey. Also survived by his mother-in-law Patricia Bell, sisters-in-law; Marilyn, Judy, Vera, Janet and their families, brother-in-law Allan and grandpa Lenny. Predeceased by his father George and brother Allan Harlow. John had many friends in life, first came his family, spending countless hours in hockey rinks, baseball fields, basketball courts and rugby pitches, where ever they may be, side by side with Darlene. He always supported and urged his sons to do their best, he was always proud of them. John never hesitated to get involved, coaching and reffing many sports, he was always there giving his time and effort. Second was his love of being on the water as a captain of his tugboat the “Sealane II”, working hand in hand with his boys, teaching them everything he knew and had learned from his father George Harlow.
