DIXON, KITTY (1946 - 2008)
Died suddenly on Sunday, February 17th in her 62nd year. Kitty leaves behind a loving husband and best friend for over 28 years, Norman Street. She will be dearly missed by children: Debra, Martin and Annie.
A bright ray of sunshine has been dimmed for Kitty's sisters: Dixie, Beverley and Nancy.
Kitty will be sorely missed by brothers: John and Rob and will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Kitty was predeceased by her mother, KayCee, her father, Cuffy and her sister, Jennifer.
Kitty's bubbly energy, creativity and crazy sense of humour brightened the day of anyone who met her -- strangers and friends alike.
Kitty loved growing up in Kirkland Lake in Northern Ontario.
Kitty was a Branksome Hall Graduate and she attended University in Vermont, USA.
Kitty enjoyed a professional career in the city of Toronto.
Kitty and Norman moved to Saltair on Vancouver Island in 2004. She quickly embraced British Columbia as home.
A gathering of friends to celebrate her life will be held, Friday, February 22, at 1:00 p.m. at her home in Saltair. #3 -- 11255 Chemainus Road, Saltair.
A second service will be held in Ontario in late Spring or early Summer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Those who were lucky enough to meet and know Kitty will never forget her.
