Passed away suddenly on September 17, 2006 at age 66 years, after a brave and short fight with cancer. Born January 10, 1940 in Ingersoll, Ontario. Survived by his loving wife Sharron, daughters: Laura (Dave Frame) and Deanna (Kyle Hoffman), grand-daughters: Chrissy, Holly, Jess and Leanne. Brother Don (Jan Munn) and sister Shirley (Garnet Richardson), also many family members in BC and Ontario. Lorne was a devoted company man for Dairyland Foods, where he had many friends in Vancouver, Vernon and Courtney. “He will be sadly missed”. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sat., October 14, 2006, 1:00-4:00 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall, 921 - 1st Avenue, Ladysmith, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
