Hunt Lloyd Thomas

September 13, 1934 – June 16, 2016

It is with heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of my darling husband Lloyd. My best friend has gone to be with the Lord where we will meet again soon. He is fixing stuff for God now. Lloyd leaves to mourn, his wife Shirley, step-son Bruce and wife Corinne and family, brother-in-law Garry and wife Gail and family, numerous brothers and sister, nieces and nephews.

Lloyd was born in Kindersley Saskatchewan and moved to Kimberley B.C. when he was two. There he lived all his life until 2002 when he moved to Ladysmith to marry Shirley.

Lloyd was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladysmith #2101 and Chemainus/Crofton #4400.He worked hard to keep the Ritual going and was so proud of his one man ritual award; which he won many times. He was someone we should all try to follow. He was the Provincial Auxiliary Father last year, talk about a proud year. He was also involved in the Vancouver Island Disaster Relief Trailer and as with everything, he did, worked so hard to keep it going. Lloyd was part of the Eagle release in Errington, loved working for the Hospital Auxiliary where he was so proud of fixing everything he could; he never had an enemy but had so many friends.

A Full Service will be held at the Eagles 921 First Avenue, Ladysmith B.C. on July

July 10th, at 1:00 p.m. All are welcome. Flowers are gratefully declined in memory of Lloyd please give to the charity of your choice.
