Died suddenly August 8, 2005. Born in Winnipeg February 13, 1934. He spent his early years in Manitoba and Pender Island, and joined the Canadian Armed Forces in 1958, serving in peacekeeping in Egypt and Cyprus. Mack was an avid outdoorsman and naturalist and enjoyed fishing and camping and loved to read and keep up on current events.
Survived by his daughter Dana Currie (Brian) of
Victoria and son Erik (Sam) of Tswwassen and his grandsons Sean, Aidan and Beau.
He will be fondly rememberd by his family and many friends. A memorial celebration of Mack’s life will be held at 3:30 on
Saturday, August 20, 2005 at Telford’s Funeral Home, 595 Townsite Rd., Nanaimo. Special thanks to the staff at the Nanaimo Hospital Emergency.
