JOHNSON, Margaret Rose, passed away peacefully at home on May 26th, 2007, with her loving daughters by her side after a courageous fight against cancer. Predeceased by her husband, soul, and best friend Al, August 22nd, 2006.
Marg was born January 30,1940 in Edmonton, Alberta, and then later moved to B.C., where she met Al, whom she later married. Together they had two beautiful daughters, that were the love of their lives.Â
Survived by her daughters:Â Donna Lee Brunskill, Debbie (Rob) DeKelver and her grandson Cory.Â
Marg who always put her family first, was a dedicated homemaker, business owner and an active community participant with Al. She touched many friends and neighbors with her kindness and huge heart. The "Hostess with the Mostess", she lived by the golden rule, "always have a napkin under your drink". We will lovingly remember her as being loving, gracious and considerate all her life, she epitomized the word courage, in how she dealt with all that brought her, good and bad.Â

A Celebration of Marg's Life will be held on Sunday, June 3rd, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chemainus Senior Center, 9824 Willow Str. Chemainus.
