MAUDE BEGGS, June 29,1921-April 28,2007....It is with great sadness that the family would like to announce the passing of our Mom and Grammy. Born in Belfast, Ireland, Maude came to Canada to reside in Chemainus in 1954 with the love of her life, Ivan Beggs Sr. Grammy was an Irish lass right to the end, with her quick sense of humor and stubbornness intact. She loved her family deeply and always had a tale to tell, and treats to give. Predeceased by her parents and 8 brothers and sisters: her husband Ivan Beggs Sr. in 1973 and son Jack in 1991. Maude is survived by her daughter Eialeen , son Ivan Beggs Jr., (Joyce), and daughter in law Tina. Grandchildren: Thea (Sam), Peter,Elaina (Kris). Ashley, Lindsay, Kyle, Kara, Thea and Michael, great-granchildren: Alethea, Connor, Cole, Ava, Jaxen and Sophia..
