Born October 1, 1960 in Walthamstow, England. He passed away quietly in his home on the morning of Friday, March 10 with his wife by his side. A loving husband, dedicated father and friend, he will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie (Watson), daughters Alex and Maitlan, his parents and brothers in Cornwall, Ontario as well as his many other family and friends. Mike was an active volunteer in the community, and was instrumental in starting our local 24 Hour Relay Team to raise money for kids with disabilities. He was the founder of “On A Roll for ALS” which continues annually to raise awareness and funds to help people living with ALS. He will be remembered by many as a welcoming face as the bartender at the local pub, always smiling and making you feel special. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday March 18, 2006 at 4:00pm at the “Aggie” Hall in Ladysmith BC.
