passed away suddenly on Friday February 02, 2007 in Nanaimo, BC. Born in Ladysmith, BC . on December 29, 1981. Michael worked as a fishing guide, and his most favourite thing after his family was to be on the water and fishing with his friends. Survived by his loving fiancee’ Andrea Lyle, his one year old son Brendan, who shares the same birthdate, he also leaves his mother Chris (Dave) Potvin, father John (Ann) Rukin, his brother Kevin Adams and sister Cindy Adams, grandparents: Michael and Sharon Rukin, grandmother Remi Pecnik, great-grandmother Jessie Naysmith, also aunts, uncles, cousins and many many good friends, and his loving dog "Blue". A celebration of life will be held on Thursday February 08, 2007 at 1:00 PM. In the Cedar Community Hall. In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been set up for Andrea and Brendan at any Coastal Community Credit Unions.
