February 3, 2009 - December 28, 2023

It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Parker John Gunther Amann, a vibrant soul who graced our lives for 14 wonderful years. On December 28, 2023, surrounded by family, he was reunited with his sister Jaedyn (2012) and beloved dogs Lola and Butch (2023).

He is deeply missed by his loving parents Paul Amann and Tara Hicks and younger brother Ayson. Great grandma Hilda Brown, grandparents John and Kim Graczyk, grandpa Tex Hicks and Grandma Lorraine. Uncles Steve (Alex), John (Emma), Dean (Liv) and Marc. Aunties Meagan (Scott), Natasha and Catherine (Brett). Cousins Dawson, Mercedez, Kristen, Nash, Liam and Sadie and all extended family and friends.

Parker's inquisitive nature and sharp mind was evident from early childhood, guiding him on countless adventures that brought joy to those around him. His energy and cheeky charm always left you with a smile. Parker's creative pursuits in track building brought new friends together and many looked up to him for his willingness and excitement to share his skills.

Parker had many passions throughout his young life and was wholeheartedly dedicated to mastering the skills needed for each of them. His love for biking and his knack for daring tricks formed the backdrop of many treasured times with his friends, whether he was pedaling through the neighbourhood, building new jumps or perfecting his latest bike tricks.

Parker's adventurous spirit led him to Whistler and The Sunshine Coast to partake in events that helped shape his future in biking. He also had a love for fishing, which led him on many lake, river and ocean adventures.

Those who knew him, loved him. His loss is felt far and wide but his spirit and tenacity for life lives on through our memories. May he ride into the endless bike trails of our hearts forever.
