It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Phil Berry on January 6, 2018.
He is survived by his wife Sheila, his mother Vivian James, sister Virginia (Steven) Gergel, brother Bobby, son Jason (Trina) Stefan, granddaughter Payton, daughter Courtney (Russell) Gilbert, granddaughters Tegan & Nyomi, grandson Carter, daughter Kezia(Ryan) Girard, stepson Preston Chase, stepdaughter Summer Chase and step grandchildren Marshall & Riley.
Phil was born in Ladysmith on July 16, 1954 and spent his life in the Ladysmith area.
He was passionate about baseball and was an award winning fastball pitcher. He also loved watching baseball and was well known for yelling at the TV from time to time.
We would like to say Thank You to all his friends who visited and entertained him during his stay at Chartwell and wish to express a special "Thank You" to the entire staff who took such loving care of him.
