Peacefully in Chemainus, B.C. on December 30, 2002. Born in Southampton, England January 7, 1919. Predeceased by her loving husband Alex, son James (Mick) and great granddaughter Jessica. Survived by her daughter Sylvia (Kari) Bonde, son Chas (Linda), grandchildren: Cole, Kennedy, Katie, Chris, Kyla, Bryn, Jayse, Megan and Holly. Also numerous relatives in England. Funeral was held Monday, January 6, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John’s Anglican Church, Ladysmith, B.C., Rev. R. Westaway officiating, followed by interment in the Ladysmith Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Chemainus Health Care Centre would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary.
