passed away peacefully on December 2, 2005 at the Chemainus Health Care Centre.
Ruth was born on October 13, 1918, in Alberta. She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Cross, and her daughter Alice. She is survived by her loving husband, John, and her children: Ken (Heather), Bill (Doris), Shirley (Jack), Norm (Dorothy), Darlene, Kathy, Stan (Denise), and is also survived by her sister Joan Benson of Red Deer, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. John and Ruth spent many happy hours together enjoying traveling and being very active members of the Ladysmith O.A.P.
A tea will be held for all to gather and remember her at the Eagles Hall in Ladysmith on December 14, 2005 from 2:30 to 5:00 pm.
