SEAN MALCOLM RATHLEF
January 16, 1970 - December 7, 2007.
Sean grew up with many friends and family in Ladysmith, and graduated from Ladysmith Secondary School in 1988. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Science from the University of Victoria, and was a passionate artist and a dedicated scientist/entrepreneur. After a long struggle with mental illness, Sean took his life in Victoria.
Sean was predeceased by his mother Lois in the year 2000 and is survived by his father Bill, brother Chad and his family as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will always be remembered by his family, friends and professional business associates.
Those close to him wish that Sean may now join his mother in peace and that he may finally find the serenity that his illness so cruelly denied him in the later years of his life.
