Passed away in Duncan Hospital on December 6th, 2002. Born in the Ukraine July 18, 1933. Late resident of Chemainus, B.C. He retired from Doman’s in 1998. Sergie was a member of the Chemainus Rod & Gun Club. Honorary member of the Chemainus Volunteer Fire Depart-ment, and of the Che-
mainus Valley Museum. Survived by his loving wife Evelyn of 42 years, his son Daryl (Sandi), grandson Glenn, his daughter Kim, Grand-daughter Courtney, his sisters: Vera (Bill) Kucher and Mary (Forrest) Conklin. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 13, 2002 at 11:00 am in the Chemainus United Church, Willow Street, Chemainus. Rev. Michelle Slater officiating.
