MCEWEN, T. IAN passed away at the age of 78 on May 8th 2007 in Nanaimo Hospital after a brief illness. Born April 8th 1929 in Chemainus, Dad gained a solid reputation in the saw mill industry having spent approx 50 years working in Chemainus, Golden and Prince George areas. Mom and Dad retired to Lantzville in the early 80's. Predeceased by his wife Velma in 2001, brother Alex and sister Audrey. He will be lovingly remembered by companion Joan, his children Kathleen(Blaine) Froats, Greg (Sandra) and Leslie(Cece) Lutley also grandchildren Chris (Leigh-Ann), Aaron, Travis, Stacey, Trevor, Kyle and Rachel and great grandchildren Carlie, Myah and Ella and his brother Rodger. Also survived by many in-laws and nieces and nephews. Memorial service Monday 14th May 2007 1pm at Telford's Memorial Centre 595 Townsite Rd, Nanaimo B.C.
