In loving memory ~
Tanis was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan and grew up on a farm near Tisdale, Saskatchewan.
After college in Caronport, SK and Saskatoon, SK Tanis moved to Edmonton and with her husband raised two children. Tanis loved gardening, reading, traveling and singing in her church choir.
In 2003 Tanis married Bill Money and together they retired on Vancouver Island. Tanis leaves to mourn her children, Gail (Ian) Benson, Barry (Sandy) Martens and nine grandchildren: Christian, Clarissa, Callum, Cole, Caden, Casey, Allison, Jennifer and Sarah. She also leaves to mourn her sister in law Karen Nygaard, sister in law Vida (Wayne) Fenton, and brother in law Brian ( Nancy) Money.
Very special thanks to the staff at the Oyster Harbour Seniors Care Centre in Ladysmith, BC for their loving and compassionate care of Mom.
A burial for Tanis will be held at 11:00am January 19, 2024 at Ladysmith Cemetery, and a Celebration of her Life will follow at 2:00pm at Warmland Church in Crofton, BC.
