Venera passed away peacefully on April 7, 2005 in Duncan Hospital, B.C. with her loving husband Sergio by her side.
She is survived by husband Sergio, sons: Phillip (Shannon), Mark (Gina), Luca (Ericka); grandchildren: Ryan, Kaleb, Isaac and Dylan; sister Maria Vnerina Borg, brothers; Manuel (Carmen), George (Minnie), Joe, Josue (Annie), Tony (Christine) and many nieces and nephews. Venera will also be sadly missed by her godchildren, many firends and family. Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Mill Bay, B.C., followed by interment in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. (Service in Prince Rupert to be announced).
