TASSIN, Victor Peter
February 13, 1913 - March 29, 2003
Born and lived in Ladysmith for all of his 90 years. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Theresa, brothers; Joe and Peter. Vic is lovingly remembered by his sisters; Timilda Bowker, Mary Tassin and Theresa Patrick, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends especially Mac and Phil. Vic served in the army, was a commercial fisherman, worked at the old Chemainus Sawmill and Comox Logging before retiring after 25 years with Crown Zellerbach. An avid outdoorman, Vic loved fishing, hunting and spending times at the Cabin. At 75 years old he was still hunting on horseback. The family sincerely thank the staff and Candy Stripers at Ladysmith Hospital for their caring. No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stoke Fund would be appreciated.
