Walter (Uncle Walter) BROWNLOW

passed away peacefully on September 28, 2005 in Ladysmith, B.C. Born in Horwich, England June 28, 1929.

Predeceased by his loving wife Joan Mary Brownlow, survived by his children: Marilyn Pawlitsky, Kenneth (Debbie) Brownlow, Tony (Shelly) Brownlow. Grandchildren: Stephanie, Julian, Colby Walter, Karlene and Shawn. Siblings: Dorothy Leigh in England, Edna (John) Bell in Australia, Olive (Neil) Colburn of Victoria, B.C., Jimmy (Maureen) Brownlow of Crofton, B.C., Vera (Harold) Howthorn in New Zealand, Jeffery (June) Brownlow of England and Harry (Aniota) Brownlow of England. Sister-in-law Ellen and brother-in-law Gene Ledoux, brother and sister-in-law Bob and Dorothy Eccles, very close friends Leila and Marianne and the rest of the Renyards, also nieces and nephews and many dear friends, and especially the first nations people. Uncle Walter was a member of the Rotary Club of Ladysmith, the Eagles, the Moose Lodge, and the R.C.L. Uncle Walter will be sorely missed by his family, friends and his little dog Molly.

Memorial Service Friday, October 7, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in the Ladysmith Eagle’s Hall, First Avenue and French Street, Ladysmith, B.C.

Uncle Walter said, “Please don’t wear black”. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Foundation would be appeciated.
