Born January 5, 1915 in Calgary, Alberta, died March 13, 2002, Nanaimo, B.C. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Eleanor, daughter Frances, sons: Ronald and Richard, grandchildren; Deano (Esther), Marcel, and Adrianna. Predeceased by grandaughter Brianna and great grandaughter Kallysta and other relatives. Bill served in the R.C.A.F. during WWII, he lived many years in Ocean Falls, where he enjoyed boating and fishing, boat building was his hobby. He enjoyed his retirement years in Nanaimo. The family would like to thank Dr. Ron Dorsey and the staff of the Nanaimo Regional Hospital for their compassionate care and support. Also the staff of Woodgrove Manor and Kiwanis Lodge for their caring. In lieu of flowers, donations to the B.C. Children’s Hospital would be appreciated. At his request, there will be a private family service. Arrangements entrusted to Telford’s Mortuary.
