Doug is predeceased by his father - William Julius Johnson (January 29, 1971), his mother - Mable Lillian Johnson (January 24, 1992), and his granddaughter - Ashley Louise Campbell €(June 25, 2006).
He is survived by his children; Robert Johnson, Victoria, BC; Delyce (Rick) Harrison, Sharpsburg, Georgia; Tammie (Chuck) Campbell, Nanaimo, BC. His grandchildren; Shaina (Brandon) Tolhurst, Prescott Valley, Arizona; James (Amber)
Tolhurst, Newnan Georgia; Jessica (Riley) Zannet Regina, Sask., and his great grandchild; Abigail Tolhurst, Newnan Georgia. His sisters; Erna (Doug) Jobb, Edmonton, Alberta; Anne (Jacob) Rusten, Lten, Norway, and his brothers; Dick (Verlie) Johnson, Kamloops, BC; Stew (Carol) Johnson, Victoria, BC.
Doug was a Korean War Veteran having served in Canada's Peace Keeping Forces overseas. Doug was also a 37 year employee of Alcan Aluminium Smelter in Kitimat BC.
There will be no service for Doug and his cremated remains will be placed in the ocean, as per his wishes.
