William "Bill" Henry McCasky passed away peacefully at home November 15, 2015 after a quick, but hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer.

Bill lived an amazing life. He joined the navy which led him on many adventures including meeting his wife, Donna, on the west coast in 1967. He was employed at the Crofton Pulp Mill for 36 years and worked very hard to become a red seal machinist. He retired in 2005 and never looked back!

Bill was a passionate person who gave his all to things that meant a lot to him. This ranged from the union, to religion, to both provincial and federal politics and finally, the Veterans MC. Bill's one thing was motorcycling and he has ridden all over North America and Europe.

Bill is survived by his wife, Donna, daughters Sina (Darren) and Corinne (Trent), grandchildren Tyler, Skye, Emma, Luke, and Erica, great grandchild Lynsie, mother Stephanie, brother Gerry and many nieces and nephews.

We would like to thank Jason Mann for his quick actions which gave us more time with him. Thank you to the Veterans MC for their love and support in his final days. Thank you to the nurses and staff at NRGH for the excellent care they provided.

To Bill's amazing cousin Dea-Anne Sandrk whose nursing skills and loving care allowed him to remain at home, there are no words.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held in January 30th, 2016 at 1:30 pm at Royal Canadian Legion 9775 Chemainus Rd., Chemainus, B.C. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the, Royal Canadian Legion #191 PO Box 423 Chemainus, BC V0R 1K0.
