passed away on March 7, 2006.
Born on August 21, 1912 in Humbolt, Saskatchewan. Bill served in the Canadian Army as a member of the Southern Alberta Regiment (S.A.R.’S) during WW II. He ws a miner in the Crows Nest Pass region for many years, before moving to Nanaimo in 1955, and residing in Chase River for the remainder of his years. Predeceased by his brother Jack, sister Winnifred, half brothers: Joe and Mike German. Survived by his loving wife of 65 years Marjorie, son J.W. Clarence (Margaret), grandson Derek as well as other family members, cousins, nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Dr. Davina Kazanowski. No service by request.
