Martin thanks Ladysmith Days Committee, friends for Citizen of the Year nod

Maureen Martin expresses her gratitude to everyone involved in making her Ladysmith's Citizen of the Year for 2013.

Editor:

I wish to thank everyone on the Ladysmith Days Committee for doing me the great honour of naming me as Ladysmith’s Citizen of the Year.  Most of all, I would especially like to thank my nominator, Irene Deschene, without whom none of this would have happened!

It was a very proud day for me and one that I will never forget.

Thanks!!

Maureen Martin
