North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP have located a missing teen who hadn't been seen in over a week.
Police issued a call on Tuesday asking for the public's assistance in helping to locate the 16-year-old. She was reported missing after not being seen since Feb. 13.
The girl was found on Wednesday and is safe, RCMP said.
"Thank you to the public, media, and our policing and community partners for their assistance," said Const. Amron Russell.
