49ers tadpole team undefeated at weekend tournament

With a perfect record of 5-0, the visiting 49er’s were the undefeated champions of the tournament

The Ladysmith 49er’s Tadpole Team swept the competition at the Nanaimo Summer Smash Tournament B Division and came away champions.

The tournament was held July 19 – 21 at Departure Bay Ball Field and Gyro Field in Nanaimo. With a perfect record of 5-0, the visiting 49er’s were the undefeated champions of the tournament.

Coaches were Chris McKelvie, Brandon Jones, and Jim Jaggers.
